Astor Group Expands Healthcare Practice With Hiring of Chris Dimitropoulos

MIAMI, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Astor Group has announced the hiring of Chris Dimitropoulos, formerly a Healthcare Portfolio Analyst with Citadel Investment Group. Dimitropoulos's hiring strengthens Astor Group's Healthcare practice as the investment bank continues to experience robust activity in the sector. Dimitropoulos will report directly to Seth Zalkin, Managing Partner of Astor Group.

As a Portfolio Analyst with Citadel, Dimitropoulos served on a two-person team that managed over $1 billion in healthcare equities. During his tenure, he helped expand Citadel's healthcare practice by developing relationships with management and industry experts and performing financial and operational analyses.

Dimitropoulos joined Citadel after working at JPMorgan as an Equities Analyst where he analyzed and vetted biopharmaceutical companies across all capitalizations and business-cycle stages. He received a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois.
