Great-West Healthcare to Release Findings of Consumer Health Care Survey

Great-West Healthcare will release findings of its "Consumer Attitudes Toward Consumer-Driven Health Care" study on Thursday, July 28, 2005. The company will hold a conference call at 9 a.m. MDT (11 a.m. EDT) that same day, hosted by Cindy Donohoe, vice president of marketing and product development at Great-West Healthcare, and Kinga Zapert, Ph.D., vice president, health care division, Harris Interactive, Inc., to discuss the results.

Those wishing to participate via telephone should call 866-261-3331 (moderator: Cindy Donohoe). This number can be accessed 10 minutes before the call begins, as well as during the call. The complete survey results report will be available the day of the call.

The survey is the first of what Great-West Healthcare plans as an annual audit of consumer attitudes toward health care and health insurance. The national study was conducted via telephone by Harris Interactive, a Rochester, N.Y.-based global research company. It reflects responses of 2,000 respondents, ranging in age from 18 to 64 years old, who are on employee-sponsored health plans and are key decision makers about health insurance in their households.
