IDDS Vice President of Business Development Chairs Nasal Drug Delivery Symposium

Michael Sheckler, Vice President of Business Development for Intrac, Inc. (OTCBB: ITRD.OB) and its wholly-owned subsidiary Innovative Drug Delivery Systems (IDDS), was invited to chair the first Pharmaceutical Education Association's Nasal Drug Delivery Conference from July 25-27, 2005 at The Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Washington, D.C. Mr. Sheckler will also present a talk entitled, "Nasal Delivery of Analgesic Drugs". This talk will reflect the growing market for nasally delivered products including the Intrac/IDDS portfolio. This educational symposium will focus on the regulation, formulation and delivery system advances in nasal drug delivery.
The approximately 60 attendees at this inaugural conference will have the opportunity to hear over a dozen other speakers including Wallace P. Adams, Ph.D., from the office of Pharmaceutical Science, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, US FDA; William Banks, M.D., from the Department of Internal Medicine, Geriatric Division, St. Louis University; Illana Gozes, Ph.D., of the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and CSO at Allon Therapeutics; and Ajay Prasad, Ph.D., from the University of Delaware. Topics include bypassing the blood-brain barrier, to understanding dynamic airflow within the nasal passage, to enhancing nasal drugs' effectiveness by administering them in dry powder form.
