Ziehm Solo Available in the USA – the First 100 C-arms Sold in Europe

NUREMBERG, Germany, April 13, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — In April 2010, Ziehm
Imaging has completed the first 100 installations of the C-arm Ziehm Solo.
One year after the product launch at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR
2009), Ziehm Solo continues to prove its clinical and technological success
and significantly supports Ziehm Imaging’s revenue. Klaus Horndler, Managing
Director of Ziehm Imaging, describes the fast growing success and the
acceptance within the market of mobile X-ray based imaging: “Ziehm Solo

Ziehm Solo – which completes the portfolio’s mid-range segment -

possibilities from which 100 hospitals have clinically and financially
benefited. In December 2009, Ziehm Solo was cleared for sale by the FDA.
First installations have successfully been completed in the last few weeks.
With Ziehm Solo, Ziehm Imaging aims to provide clinical benefit for
orthopedic and trauma hospitals as well as pain management offices and
surgical centers.
