I-Flow Announces New Managed Care Contracts for InfuSystem's Oncology Services

Posted on: Monday, 25 July 2005, 21:00 CDT

I-Flow Corporation (NASDAQ:IFLO) announced today that InfuSystem, a wholly-owned subsidiary of I-Flow Corporation and the nationwide leader in ambulatory infusion management services, signed ten new managed care contracts. These contracts represent more than 10 million lives nationally, and demonstrate managed care's commitment to allowing more patients to have access to the preferred method for outpatient cancer treatment. InfuSystem's services enable oncologists to manage the delivery of chemotherapy for patients while monitoring their progress without the need for the patient to stay in an office or hospital setting.

"Our mission is to make treatment as effective and comfortable as possible for as many cancer patients as possible," said Steve Watkins, president of InfuSystem. "These new contracts not only broaden the coverage for millions, they further validate the outstanding quality of our services and offerings. We believe that we now have contracts for our services covering more than 50 percent of the patients eligible in the United States."

InfuSystem offers the most comprehensive system available for chemotherapy infusion, providing ambulatory infusion pumps and related disposable supplies from a variety of manufacturers while assuming certain administrative functions to achieve overall efficiency and cost-effective clinical outcomes.
