Your Life: WOMEN AND HEART DISEASE
Posted on: Tuesday, 2 August 2005, 06:00 CDT
CORONARY heart disease kills 51,500 women each year - more than four times the number who die of breast cancer.
ALMOST 2,000 women die of heart and circulatory disease every week.
37 PER CENT of coronary heart disease deaths are related to lack of exercise - inactivity makes your heart weaker so it can't pump blood around your body as easily.
