ESS Achieves Accreditation From Background Screening Credentialing Council

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — Employment Screening Services (ESS), announced today that they have successfully achieved compliance with the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS®) accreditation program and will be formally recognized as Background Screening Credentialing Council (BSCC) Accredited.

In order to achieve accreditation, a rigorous onsite audit is conducted by an independent auditing firm, and consumer reporting agencies must meet policies and procedures in the following critical areas: consumer protection, legal compliance, client education, product and service standards, quality assurance, and privacy and security.
