CRICKET : Aussie Paceman Lee in Hospital

Australian fast bowler Brett Lee was last night admitted to hospital with a suspected infection of his left knee.
Lee experienced swelling and discomfort in the knee yesterday and was admitted to hospital for tests and treatment for the condition.
The injury setback follows just 24 hours after Lee hit an unbeaten 43 to take Australia within sight of one of the greatest victories in Ashes history, only to fall just short and lose by two runs.
It follows the loss of fast bowler Glenn McGrath, who was ruled out of the Edgbaston Test on the morning of the match with an ankle injury.
McGrath is still rated as extremely doubtful for Thursday's third Test at Old Trafford.
The Australian team's physiotherapist, Errol Alcott, said: 'Glenn is having intensive treatment several times daily and I'm encouraged. Despite his pleasing response to treatment, we still can't be drawn on the time-frame.'
All-rounder Shane Watson could get a call-up and replace one of the batsmen should Australia decide it is worth playing Stuart MacGill as an extra spinner
