Dr. Liz Lyster, M.P.H., F.A.C.O.G. Obstetrician, Gynecologist, radio talkshow guest, and author will address a myriad of topics including: the latest in essential health screenings, hormones (what is normal by age), birth control (what’s new and less fuss), diseases to be avoided and of course, last but not least…Sex – Is the G spot, Myth or Legend.
The next We R’ Moms Mom-i-nar switches gears to help parents protect their tweens & teens while using the internet: “Internet Safety For Parents.” The speaker is Bob Cohen, an author, internet safety expert, lecturer, and trainer. Many middle and junior high schools are requiring students (parents are optional-but advised to sign up with a school account), to use the internet for everything from tracking homework assignments, grade notification and of course, research. We R’ Moms is definitely a proponent of using the internet ““ and believes that parents must learn how to protect their kids as they use this dynamic tool.
