REVIEW-JOURNAL

Beginning Aug. 22, the Clark County Health District will offer extended, back-to-school immunization hours at its main campus at 625 Shadow Lane.

Until Sept. 9, parents can take their children for vaccinations from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday-Friday.

For students enrolling in public or private school, the following vaccinations are required: chicken pox; hepatitis A; hepatitis B; polio; diptheria, tetanus and pertussis; and measles, mumps, and rubella.

Though most immunizations are free, an administrative fee of $16 per patient for one immunization or $20 per patient for two or more immunizations will be collected.

Parents are asked to bring a copy of their child’s immunization records.

Immunizations are also available at each of the Clark County Health District’s satellite public health centers. For information, call 383-1351.
