WHAT: Media Briefing

WHY: The AMA brings its Medicare "House Call" campaign to Tennessee to draw attention to impending sharp Medicare cuts that will lead to an access to care problem for seniors. If Congress does not act, payments to physicians nationwide will be cut 26 percent — well below the cost of providing care, forcing physicians to limit the number of new Medicare patients in their practice.
