Project Prevention Has Saved California Taxpayers Millions and Prevented Child Abuse for 13 Years
CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Founder of Project Prevention, the organization that you covered 13 years ago is returning to Orange County with her adopted children, now adults, to once again spread the message to OC addicts and alcoholics "GET BIRTH CONTROL OR GET STERILIZED" and we'll pay you $300! Over the past 13 years Project Prevention has prevented innocent children from suffering and saved CA taxpayers millions of tax dollars. Destiny Harris, now 21, was labeled by the CA Foster Care as "slow and delayed." Her adoptive mother, Barbara Harris, was told that given her prenatal neglect, Destiny would always be slow. To this day, Barbara Harris believes that had Destiny remained in the foster care system that would have been true! Destiny Harris was one of the more fortunate drug exposed infants being adopted at age 8 months by a loving family. Destiny is now on the Chancellor's list at the University of NC in Charlotte. She and her siblings will be volunteering to reach out to addicts July 11th.
Project Prevention offers cash incentives to women and men addicted to drugs and/or alcohol to use long term or permanent birth control. Project Prevention is a National, 501(C)3 organization using your donations to stop a problem before it happens.SOURCE C.R.A.C.K. Project Prevention
