Phase Forward (NASDAQ: PFWD), a leading provider of data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety, today announced that Paul Bleicher, M.D., Ph.D, chairman and founder, has been named to the PharmaVOICE 100. Dr. Bleicher has been involved in drug development for almost 20 years. Prior to founding Phase Forward, he worked as an investigator in industry-sponsored trials at Harvard Medical School, as a medical monitor at a leading CRO, and as vice president, clinical affairs at a biotechnology company. Dr. Bleicher has been very active in the leadership of the Drug Information Association (DIA) and on the editorial board of three leading industry journals. In 2004, he was the recipient of an Outstanding Service Award from the DIA. Dr. Bleicher also serves as a member of the School of Science External Advisory Committee at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and received their alumni association's prestigious Fellows Award in 2003. In 2002, Dr. Bleicher was named an Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, and received an Innovator's Award from the Small Business Association of New England (SBANE).
