Misys Healthcare Systems Offers Consumer-Directed Healthcare Services Through New Web Portal

Strengthening communication channels between physician practices, their patients, and other physicians, Misys Healthcare Systems today announced a new, browser-based solution that allows physician practices to promote consumer-directed healthcare services to its patient community.

Now available, the Misys PatientLink(TM) solution offers Misys customers their own secure, uniquely branded Web site - a self-service patient portal as well as a referral portal - that can help physicians and their staffs increase office efficiency and productivity. Practices can use this solution to engage and empower their patients to take responsibility for their personal healthcare decisions, establishing a two-way dialogue on healthcare.

Patients can complete forms/paperwork online, pay medical bills, request appointments, update their registration information, provide medical history, receive lab results, request prescription refills, and communicate with their physician.
