Pennsylvania College of Internal Medicine Selects Lobbying and Advocacy Firm

The Pennsylvania College of Internal Medicine (PCIM), a chapter of the American College of Physicians, announces the selection of Public Affairs Strategies of Plymouth Meeting, PA to provide legislative and policy advice, government relations and help execute grassroots activities for PCIM's 6,000 members.

"PCIM is the largest medical specialty society in Pennsylvania. Our members expect us to have a solid advocacy program," said John Derrickson, PCIM's Executive Director. "Ken Lawrence and his team will help us develop strategies and programs to communicate effectively with our legislators and regulators to improve patient access to health care."

Public Affairs Strategies is a multi-faceted public affairs consulting firm specializing in the areas of community relations, government relations, media relations and public relations. McCann served as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator for the Small Business Administration. Janik has performed legislative research and policy analysis with several organizations.
