CTGHS Announces Launch of Children's Healthcare Services
Posted on: Friday, 9 September 2005, 09:00 CDT
CINCINNATI, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- CTG HealthCare Solutions, Inc. (CTGHS), a leading information technology (IT) consulting firm serving the healthcare industry, today announced it will deliver healthcare information technology (IT) services targeted specifically to children's healthcare providers. Its new Children's Healthcare services will be delivered by a team of consultants with hands-on experience in pediatric settings.
The new offering addresses the complex issues involved in adapting pediatric healthcare to processes and systems designed for adults. It also reflects CTGHS' deep experience in supporting pediatric clients and its recognized expertise in clinical systems implementation, as recognized in a June, 2005 "Top Twenty Mid-Year Report Card" issued by KLAS Enterprises* that ranked the firm as the category leader in implementing clinical systems.
Children's Healthcare is the first of several new service lines CTGHS plans to tailor to specialty markets. It is supported by a suite of proprietary methodologies called Exemplar for Pediatric Clinical Transformation(R). The methodologies, part of a larger set developed to support clinical improvement projects, features a unique, modular design that supports all work flows and every phase of large IT-enabled projects.
"Our pediatric clients tell us they need consulting firms and vendors with in-depth knowledge of their unique issues," said CTGHS president Tom Niehaus. "Our Children's Healthcare services meet that need. They mobilize an enormously talented pediatric senior management team brought together by CTGHS that includes pediatricians and clinicians as well as former COOs, CFOs, CNOs, CIOs, and CMOs -- all with intensive, real-world experience in the delivery of children's services."
"Most major clinical IT systems are designed for the diagnosis and treatment of adults," said Ward Keever, Executive Director of CTGHS' Executive Services team. "Tailoring those applications and associated processes to the requirements of children's healthcare requires a consulting partner with focused experience in pediatric services and environments. Our new service line targeted to the pediatric market establishes CTGHS as that partner."
