Community Medical Centers Selects Park City Solutions for Vital Component of Major IT Initiative; emPOWERnet(TM) to Provide Physicians a Single View of All Clinical Information

Park City Solutions, Inc. (PCS) - a leading provider of eHealth solutions - and Community Medical Centers (CMC) today announced plans to implement PCS' emPOWERnet(TM) Provider eHealth Solution throughout central California's largest health care network.

Community Medical Centers will use Park City's emPOWERnet(TM) Provider/Physician Portal to integrate CMC's various systems and provide a single view into all relevant patient demographic and clinical data for its more than 2,100 registered physicians and their office staffs. The decision to implement PCS' eHealth Provider Portal product was in accordance with CMC's long-range IT strategic plan consisting of two major initiatives: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS).

CMC was looking for an eHealth system that provides an intuitive Web-based "front-end" that can incorporate the functionality of most of its existing back-end systems and is easily accessible through a single sign-on, single-user interface from a physician's office, home or the hospital, allowing for the completion of a variety of functions related to patient care and other physician responsibilities.
