Celliance Offers LucraTone(TM) Peptones to Cell Culture and Fermentation Markets

Serologicals Corporation (NASDAQ: SERO) announced today that Celliance, its wholly-owned subsidiary, is offering a new line of peptones under the brand name of LucraTone(TM). These products will be launched into the bioprocessing market and are critical components in cell culture and fermentation.

The initial product launch will feature eight animal-free, GMO-free peptones: LucraTone(TM) Broadbean, LucraTone(TM) Pea, LucraTone(TM) Yeast, LucraTone(TM) Yeast UF, LucraTone(TM) Potato, LucraTone(TM) Soy F, LucraTone(TM) Soy P and LucraTone(TM) Wheat. For the customer's convenience, all eight peptones will also be available in an 8 x 100 g package size for sampling and evaluation in our LucraTone(TM) Pep Pack. Additional animal-free peptones as well as some critical animal-origin peptones will be added to enhance our LucraTone(TM) line in early 2006.
