New Supplement Series Provides Additional Marketing Opportunities for Pharmaceutical Clients
Wolters Kluwer Health (WKHealth), the leading drug and health information provider, today announced that its journal Hospital Pharmacy, the nation's most-read health-system pharmacy journal, will be packaged with a new supplement series, Therapeutic Insights & Review, providing an additional opportunity for clients to reach health-system pharmacy decision makers with Hospital Pharmacy-branded content.
Hospital Pharmacy, from the Facts & Comparisons product line, is a controlled-circulation peer-reviewed journal and is free to qualified medical professionals. Recent PERQ-HCI readership figures (Focus Pharmacy Survey 2005) show the journal ranks number one with directors of pharmacy, Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee members, and clinical pharmacists. Content for Therapeutic Insights & Review will be supplied by pharmaceutical clients or custom-created by Hospital Pharmacy editors. Therapeutic Insights & Review allows pharmaceutical clients to reach health-system pharmacy decision makers with data from sponsored symposiums. Continuing Education (CE) can be added to all issues of the supplement series.
"The primary focus of Hospital Pharmacy is the provision of key medication safety and drug information for the health system pharmacist. It is the primary practitioner-centered journal in the profession," said Dennis Cada, PharmD, FASHP, FASCP, Editor-in-Chief of Hospital Pharmacy. "Hospital Pharmacy has been recognized as the leading journal for directors of pharmacy, clinical pharmacists and formulary committee members, the key acute care decision makers, and is the perfect outlet for symposium data targeting this group."
All content for Therapeutic Insights & Review will be reviewed by Hospital Pharmacy Editorial Board members. For a sample copy and pricing information, contact Pharmaceutical Media, Inc., Hospital Pharmacy's advertising sales representative, at 212-685-5010.
