Patient Care Technology Systems (PCTS) today announced that Gilbert Hospital of Gilbert, Arizona has selected the Amelior ED(TM) patient care system for patient tracking, nurse & physician documentation and computerized provider order entry in its emergency department. Gilbert Hospital is a new acute care general hospital dedicated to providing emergency services to the high growth, East Valley communities neighboring Phoenix. PCTS is exhibiting this week in booth #613 at the American College of Emergency Physicians Scientific Assembly held at the Washington D.C. Convention Center from Sept. 26-28.
"As a new acute care general hospital focused on state-of-the-art emergency care services for our growing community, we want to provide our caregivers with the best technologies available to support the highest quality patient care and the best patient experience possible," said Tim Johns M.D., Medical Director. "With the Amelior ED patient care system, we have an intelligent technology that integrates the management of all patient information into a single, highly-organized, and comprehensive ED information system."
"We are very pleased to welcome Gilbert Hospital to our growing family of leading hospitals who have selected an Amelior solution to support their high acuity departments," said Tony Marsico, CEO of PCTS. "Today, Amelior passive tracking and clinical information systems are supporting caregivers and staff in emergency departments and trauma centers across the country from small, rural facilities to some of the largest metropolitan facilities. Gilbert Hospital's vision to provide all digital, paperless services represents the future of medical care and we are proud to have been selected to help fulfill this goal."
