DR Systems Lands PACS Contracts With Hi-Desert Medical Center and Newport Community Hospital

DR Systems today announced two new PACS contracts totaling more than $1 million. Hi-Desert Medical Center (Joshua Tree, Calif.) awarded a contract worth nearly $800,000 to the company. DR Systems' second new contract, with Newport Community Hospital (Newport, Wash.), is for approximately $260,000.
Both Hi-Desert and Newport have MEDITECH hospital information systems. DR Systems has interfaced its technology with MEDITECH at more than 30 other hospitals, including Kalispell Regional Hospital (Kalispell, Mont.), Howard County General Hospital (Columbia, Md.), Beaufort Memorial Hospital (Beaufort, S.C.), Merle West Medical Center (Klamath Falls, Ore.), and Williamson Medical Center (Franklin, Tenn.).
The turnkey PACS system that is being acquired by Hi-Desert and Newport features:
