TVI Corporation to Provide Shelters and Shower Systems to the American Red Cross

TVI Corporation (NASDAQ: TVIN), a global supplier of rapidly deployable first responder systems for homeland security, hospitals, police and fire departments, the military and public health agencies, today announced that it has been awarded a $625,000 contract with the American Red Cross, arranged through one of TVI's leading distributors. TVI will deliver 2 Line shower systems to the American Red Cross in addition to providing temporary housing for evacuees in both Louisiana and Mississippi.

"Our 2 Line shelters provide rapidly deployable showering and decontamination systems in addition to other larger shelters that will provide housing and security to those uprooted by the hurricane who are now under the care of the American Red Cross."

As previously announced, TVI has established and is managing a command center in Baton Rouge to support the rescue, relief, and cleanup efforts. Several large TVI distributors also have set up operation centers in Louisiana and Mississippi.
