Food Technology Service, Inc. Achieves ISO 13485:2003 Certification

Food Technology Service, Inc. (NASDAQ:VIFL) announced today that the Company has been certified as meeting ISO 13485:2003 standards for the provision of radiation sterilization services of medical devices. This certification was granted by SGS United Kingdom, Ltd., following an audit of Food Technology Services' quality management system. Certification to ISO 13485:2003 demonstrates that the Company's quality management system has been independently assessed and found to meet internationally-recognized standards relating to the manufacture of medical devices and associated services.
