InStil Health Approved to Offer Medicare Regional Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plan in Georgia and South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved InStil Health Insurance Co. as one of two regional preferred provider organizations (RPPO) in Georgia and South Carolina.
Starting January 1, regional PPOs will be available in most areas of the country. Unlike local PPOs, regional PPOs will serve an entire region and offer more plan options to Medicare eligible beneficiaries living in rural areas not covered by Medicare Advantage plans. The plan, called InChoice, offers a low premium and a high premium option, with or without drug coverage.
In addition to the regional PPO, InStil Health offers local PPO plans in select counties in Georgia and a private fee-for-service plan (PFFS) called InCare that covers all 46 South Carolina counties and 36 counties in Georgia. Medicare beneficiaries in South Carolina and Georgia also can choose one of the two, stand-alone Medicare prescription drug coverage options.
