Joseph D. Feaster, Jr. Elected Speaker of National Association of Community Health Centers

WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Joseph D. Feaster, Jr. has been unanimously elected Speaker of the National Association of Community Health Centers, Inc. at its 36th Annual Convention and Community Health Institute (CHI) in Miami, Florida.

Feaster is an attorney based in Boston, MA with a long record of community activism on health care issues. He is the President of Feaster Enterprises, a consultant firm engaged in strategic planning, organizational development, and community outreach. He is also counsel to the Boston law firm of McKenzie and Associates and serves on the Board of Directors of Dimock Community Health Center Foundation in Roxbury.

Feaster has served in various leadership posts at NACHC. Prior to his election, Feaster held the position of Speaker for one year, after being appointed to fill a vacancy in that office. He is the chair of the Legislative Committee and currently chairs a task force on the Reauthorization of the Consolidated Health Centers Program. He also served as Vice Chair of the Health Policy Committee.
