Saint Vincent Health System Selects TouchWorks(TM) Electronic Health Record By Allscripts

EHR to Seamlessly Integrate with Existing IDX(R) Flowcast(R) Revenue Cycle Management System

Allscripts, (Nasdaq:MDRX), the leading provider of clinical software, connectivity and information solutions that physicians use to improve healthcare, today announced that Saint Vincent Health System will implement the Allscripts electronic health record solution for its more than 50 primary and specialty physicians in the Saint Vincent Medical Group.

Saint Vincent Health System will use the electronic health record (EHR) to connect physicians to each other and to the entire community of care including patients, hospitals, labs, pharmacies and payors providing a more seamless patient experience. The EHR gives physicians the mobility they need to provide a higher standard of patient care because Saint Vincent Health System (SVHS) physicians will have immediate access to patient information anywhere and anytime via the web-based software.

Saint Vincent Health System will integrate TouchWorks with its existing IDX(R) Flowcast(R) revenue cycle management solution from IDX Systems Corporation. Allscripts and IDX share a 10-year strategic relationship that will directly link clinical and financial information to support operational improvements at Saint Vincent Health System's physician practices.

The health center was the only hospital in Erie County and one of just three hospitals in Pennsylvania to be named to this select list.
