Tai Chi Class on Tap at Milton Hospital

MILTON - Milton Hospital will host an eight-week tai chi class beginning tomorrow.
The cost is $80 and the class runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Nangeroni Center on the first floor. Pre-payment and registration are required. The eight-week course ends Dec. 14.
Tai chi is a flowing progression of movements designed to calm the mind, relax the body, attain better balance, rehabilitate injuries and promote whole body health.
Course instructor Ron Marcotte teaches the Wu style short form of tai chi, consisting of 18 precisely choreographed movements practiced in a slow, meditative manner.
