Boy's Bike Taken

Nelson police are calling for witnesses after a young boy had his bike taken from him by a teenager described as wearing shorts on his head. Senior Constable Phil Wylie of Nelson police said the boy was biking from Annesbrook Drive towards Tahunanui Drive when he was approached by a teenager about 4.15pm yesterday
. Mr Wylie said the boy told police he was approached by a male Maori, aged 13 or 14, who was wearing black pants, and had grey shorts over his face . The bike stolen was a black road bike. Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the incident.Source: Nelson Mail, The
