Burnham Institute for Medical Research Announces Management Appointments

The Burnham Institute for Medical Research today announced the appointment of William Zondler to the position of Vice President, Information Technology. Mr. Zondler joins the Institute with over 20 years of experience in biotech and commercial electronics manufacturing companies. For the past eight years, he has led the information technology group at Diversa Corporation. Prior to Diversa, Mr. Zondler served as network and systems manager of Proxima Corporation.

Additionally, Ms. Sherri Marinovich has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Human Resources, providing leadership in the areas of recruiting, immigration, benefits, employee relations, and strategic planning. Ms. Marinovich has devoted over 20 years to the Institute, which has grown to over 700 employees. Ms. Marinovich actively participates in several professional organizations, including, board membership in San Diego Biotechnology Employment Development Coalition (BEDC); Program and Information Committees for the Association of Independent Research Institutes; Society of Human Resource Management; the Association of International Educators; and the Professional International Educators Roundtable.
