News Advisory:

-- AMA Joins Texas Physicians To Urge U.S. Congressional Action To Halt Medicare Cuts

-- Texas Medical Association (TMA)

-- Dallas County Medical Society (DCMS)

WHY: Impending Medicare physician payment cuts of 26 percent over the next six years will harm seniors' access to physician care. Physician leaders will discuss the impact of the cuts on the national, state and local level -- including a survey of Dallas physicians -- and urge immediate Congressional action.
