PMSI-Tmesys Appoints Vice President of Clinical Services and Business Development

PMSI-Tmesys announces the appointment of R. Nick Page, PharmD, to the position of Vice President of Clinical Services and Business Development. Tampa-based PMSI-Tmesys is one of the nation's leading providers of pharmacy, medical services and supplies to the workers' compensation and catastrophic care industries.
Page's responsibilities include advancing the company's clinical pharmacy offerings to encompass the development of a pharmacy and therapeutics committee, customized formulary design and development, and directing the company's drug regimen review and predictive risk management programs. Additionally, he will lead the organization in identifying new markets and developing new products. His professional expertise includes drug trending analysis along with formulary development, best-practices clinical guidelines, and disease management programs. He also has expertise in pharmacoeconomic modeling and harnessing technology to bring greater efficiencies and knowledge to patient and medicine management.

Page brings to the position a diversified, nine-year career in clinical services with five years of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience. His background includes cost containment strategy, formulary management, the development of disease management programs, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation, and claims adjudication and payment.
Before joining PMSI-Tmesys, Page was the director of pharmacy operations for PBM Plus, Inc. in Milford, Ohio. Previously he served as director of pharmacy services with OhioHealth Corporation. While there, his department received the "OhioHealth Corporation Ring of Quality" award for customer service.
Page earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He also conducted a year-long specialty residency in ambulatory care in the College of Pharmacy at Ohio State University. Page has presented and published numerous professional papers in the clinical arena.
