MD-Based Maxim Health Cancels All Flu Vaccine Clinics

Maxim Health Systems LLC, of Columbia, a division of Maxim Healthcare Services Inc., said as of yesterday, it has canceled all flu vaccine clinics at retail locations, due to high demand for vaccinations coupled with insufficient supply of vaccine. A Maxim representative said the cancellation represents about 10 percent of its scheduled clinics. The company also offers flu vaccinations for corporate clients and high-risk individuals such as elderly.
