Aethlon CEO Appointed Co-Chairman of Bioterrorism/Chemical and Nuclear Security Task Force

Aethlon Medical, Inc. (OTCBB:AEMD) announced that its Chairman and CEO, James A. Joyce, has been appointed Co-Chairman of the Bioterrorism/Chemical and Nuclear Security Task Force of the Homeland Security Industries Association (HSIA).
"I am honored to have the opportunity to participate in the HSIA's efforts to evolve and influence policies to protect our citizens," stated Mr. Joyce. "I also hope that my participation will increase the visibility of our endeavors at Aethlon among industry colleagues," concluded Joyce. Mr. Joyce has been an active participant in the emerging biodefense industry. He recently testified before Congress on issues related to Project BioShield legislation and the deployment of the Aethlon Hemopurifier(TM) as a countermeasure against biological weapons. His efforts have been instrumental in expanding the definition of bioweapon treatment countermeasure in new legislation to include medical devices, such as the Hemopurifier. Most recently, he served on the Project BioShield panel at the Federal Biodefense Research Conference in Washington, D.C.
