HIV Patients ‘Are Drug-Resistant’

HIV patients in Britain have one of the world’s highest rates of resistance to drugs used to combat it, researchers say today. The study by the Group on Transmitted HIV Drug Resistance, published in the British Medical Journal, raised fears of a second-wave epidemic of drug-resistant HIV.
