About 13,000 patients received treatment from the hospital so far since its establishment in 1999, he said.
Some 21 British, two American and about 27 Nepali nationals have donated 5 million Nepali rupees (71428 US dollars) so far for the purpose of constructing the building, which is said to need a total of estimated 20 million Nepali rupees (285714 US dollars).
There are around 55,000 cancer patients in Nepal, and the number of patients coming for the radiotherapy service at the hospital has gone up by 23.5 percent this year compared to the previous year, Rajkarnikar added.
