Physician Practice Information Services (PPIS), associated with Baptist Health, has selected healthcare IT provider A4 Health Systems as one of the preferred electronic medical record (EMR) vendors for its physician practice clients. After conducting a rigorous review and research process, A4's HealthMatics(R) EMR was identified as one of the leading systems available to medical offices for its customizability, ease of use, and ability to interface with various practice management systems.
"Through this new initiative, Baptist once again exhibits its dedication to a high level of service and innovation for quality patient care utilizing the best technology available," says John McConnell, CEO of A4 Health Systems. " A4 technology solutions are already delivering improvements in patient care and workflow efficiencies for northeast Florida physician practices and Baptist Medical Center Downtown, so we see this agreement as an opportunity to truly extend patient information connectivity across the continuum of care for this region."
A4 offers a variety of healthcare solutions, including HealthMatics EMR, an exceptional solution that streamlines patient information management and enables practice-wide clinical workflow automation. HealthMatics EMR also has the capability to interface with Baptist Health's area hospitals for patient lab information, including Baptist Medical Center Downtown, Baptist Beaches, Baptist Nassau, Wolfson Children's Hospital and Baptist South locations.
In addition to an EMR solution, A4 provides a full-suite of software and technology services for physicians practices, including:
