Hormonal Imbalance. It can disguise itself as hot flashes, night sweats, weight gain, mood swings, fatigue or depression. It can be called menopause, peri-menopause, PMS or andropause (the male menopause). Although millions of men and women are haunted by these symptoms associated with aging, many continue to suffer and search for relief.
BodyLogicMD announces its first female doctor to join its network. Dr. Alicia Stanton opened a BodyLogicMD practice in Hartford, Connecticut specializing in preventive medicine and bioidentical hormone therapy catering to both men and women.
BodyLogicMD is a national network of anti-aging physicians offering modern day advances of bioidentical hormone therapy integrated with fitness and nutrition programs to aging men and women who suffer from the everyday symptoms caused by menopause and andropause (male menopause).
For the first time, patients in Connecticut have a medical expert in women's health and a bioidentical hormone therapy doctor all in one.
"After 10 years of working with women as an ob-gyn, I am excited to transition and dedicate my practice to helping patients find optimal health through preventive medicine integrated with bioidentical hormone therapy. My BodyLogicMD practice offers women and men unparalleled results in treating andropause, menopause, PMS, peri-menopause and other hormonal imbalances associated with aging," says Stanton, who is also an Assoc. Professor at the University of Connecticut Medical School.
With myriads of medical studies to sift through, some which give contradictory information about hormone therapy, many men and women feel lost. Even the Women's Health Initiative, designed to educate women about hormone therapy, has left out significant facts about the difference between synthetic hormones and bioidentical hormones.
According to BodyLogicMD, menopause and andropause are facts of life, but that doesn't mean people have to suffer with uncomfortable symptoms.
"We guarantee that our programs will improve the quality of life for our clients," says Dr. Paul Savage, founder and Chief Medical Officer of BodyLogicMD who is dedicated to creating public awareness on the benefits of natural bioidentical therapy. "Bioidentical hormone therapy, coupled with a fitness and nutrition program, also minimizes the risk of heart disease, stroke, cancer, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, and many cardiovascular diseases. Our therapies can literally revitalize the complete immune system of men and women alike."
