Arab Countries Consume 1.6% of World's Pharmaceuticals

According to the Kuwaiti news agency (December 29, 2005), a recently publicized study by the Arab Union of Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers shows that the Arab countries consume 1.6% of the world's pharmaceuticals
. The same study estimated the per capita average pharmaceuticals consumption in the Arab World at $26.8 annually compared with $291 global average consumption value.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
