Johnson Named Chief Executive Officer of Regency Hospital of Hattiesburg

Regency Hospital Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas L. Johnson, as the new Chief Executive Officer for Regency Hospital of Hattiesburg. "We are pleased to have Doug Johnson leading the team in Hattiesburg. Doug's previous experience developing hospital programs will be a real asset to Regency Hospital of Hattiesburg as they continue to grow their outstanding clinical LTAC program," stated President & CEO, Rod Laughlin.
Formerly Johnson worked at Gulf State Health Systems as Hospital Administrator, where he was responsible for substantial growth in operations by increasing the number of operating beds by 40% with the expansion of an additional medical unit. Johnson has served as CEO for Crosby Memorial Hospital and various Senior Management positions at Baptist Memorial Hospital prior to his appointment as CEO.
Mr. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and garnered his Masters Degree in Health Administration from The Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University.
