Sheltering Arms Rehabilitation Hospital Selects MediServe for Rehabilitation Clinical Information System

MediServe Information Systems Inc. announced an agreement with Sheltering Arms Rehabilitation Hospital (Mechanicsville, Va.) to implement its MediLinks(R) Rehabilitation software in the health system's Inpatient Rehabilitation and Outpatient Therapy Services. A total of two inpatient rehabilitation facilities and seven outpatient clinics will utilize the MediServe solution during the initial phase. These facilities include:
-- Sheltering Arms Rehabilitation Hospital and Neurorehab Therapy (Mechanicsville, Va.)
-- Sheltering Arms Hospital Outpatient - NeuroTherapies (Mechanicsville, Va.)
-- Sheltering Arms Hanover Outpatient - Orthopedic and Spine (Mechanicsville, Va.)
-- Sheltering Arms Hospital - Inpatient South (Midlothian, Va.)
-- St. Francis Outpatient (Midlothian, Va.)
-- Ironbridge Clinic (Chester, Va.)
-- Neurorehab Center (Richmond, Va.)
-- Spine and Sport Center (Richmond, Va.)
-- Bon Air Center (Richmond, Va.)
Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital and Sheltering Arms Inpatient South together manage 68 patient beds with an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) designation by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). MediServe's solution will be used to help manage inter-disciplinary care across Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language/Pathology, Nursing, Physician Services, Medical Psychology, Case Management/Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Dietary and Chaplain Services.
