Health Access Solutions Announces 0ne Million Lives Managed By Access Express(TM); Software Licenses Increased 50% Over Prior Year

Health Access Solutions today announced its Access Express(TM) Internet software, a Web portal communications tool that links physicians to their medical groups and health plans for managed care functions including eligibility, claims and authorizations, has experienced a 50 percent growth rate over the prior year, hitting a major milestone -- more than one million HMO members are now managed on Access Express.
Health Access Solutions is the software marketing division of Pacific Partners Management Services, Inc. (PPMSI). Access Express software is currently licensed to manage more than 1,000,000 health plan members managed by seven California medical groups and IPA (independent practice association) management companies including HealthCare Partners, Greater Newport Physicians, UCLA, Regal Medical Group, Arcadian Management Services, Affinity Medical Group and Santa Clara County IPA.
PPMSI Chief Operating Officer Randall Frakes says, "The number of HMO members managed on Access Express has increased dramatically -- more than 50 percent since November 2004, reflecting solid growth of enterprise software, new contracts, and membership increases for our existing clients."
