Carilion Health System Successfully Launches Park City Solutions' Dx Lab Connect Portal

Park City Solutions (Park City), a leading physician access eHealth solution provider, and Carilion Health System, a multi-facility integrated delivery network (IDN), today announced the successful deployment of Dx Lab Connect, a Park City emPOWERnet(TM) technology.

Carilion, an eight-hospital IDN with over 10,000 employees, has been effectively utilizing the Park City Physician Portal since 2003. Park City's emPOWERnet Physician/Provider Portal product efficiently interfaces Carilion's disparate clinical and administrative systems to provide a single view into all relevant clinical information for more than 1,000 physicians and clinicians.

The successful launch of Dx Lab Connect expands Carilion's commitment to the emPOWERnet technology and will allow as many as 5,000 laboratory users across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states to connect to Carilion's clinical laboratory outreach and reference testing operations.
