Sahr Appointed Director of Research at Health Policy Institute of Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 18 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Timothy R. Sahr has been appointed Research Director at the Health Policy Institute of Ohio. Prior to joining the Institute, Mr. Sahr served as Head of Research and Policy with the Franklin County Board of Health in Columbus, where he authored numerous reports assessing health issues in central Ohio communities. Mr. Sahr has also authored a number of academic and professional journals, and delivered over 35 lectures since 1990 on different public health issues.
Sahr holds a Masters of Public Health from the Ohio State University, masters degrees in theology and divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a B.A. degree from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. He is currently completing a doctorial degree in social epidemiology, health behaviors and health promotion at OSU. Sahr recently received an American Public Health Association section award for a report on the Ohio Family Health Survey.
Sahr lives in Bexley with his wife, Barbara, and his daughter, Gretchen.
