Local Pharmaceuticals Consumption Estimated

According to Al-Ahram newspaper (January 29, 2006), a recently released study by the Arab Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers Association estimated the value of the pharmaceuticals consumption in Egypt at $1,354 million. It also added that the national pharmaceuticals industry controls 91% of this consumption volume.
