Latest Versions of Industry Proven Products will be on Display at HIMSS 2006 Conference in Misys Booth #721

Misys Healthcare Systems, a market leader in healthcare IT, will highlight its market-leading initiatives towards interoperability at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2006 Conference, Feb. 12-16 in San Diego, Calif. Interoperability among healthcare IT systems and facilities is a government and healthcare industry goal. Misys continues to lead the industry by providing products to support seamless connectivity throughout all healthcare settings.

In its booth (#721), Misys will display the latest versions of products in its Misys Optimum(TM) family, a line of solutions designed to increase patient information sharing across organizations, leading to a truly connected healthcare environment. A short Misys Optimum demonstration, available at the booth, will offer a quick overview of the product suite and show how physicians can share data across healthcare venues, even using other vendor solutions. The products will also be featured as part of the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase, which will be structured as a fully functioning HIMSS Regional Health Information Infrastructure Organization.

Featured Misys Optimum Products

-- Misys Connect(TM): Misys Connect, a Web-based data sharing solution, meets and exceeds the standards from the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) initiative to give caregivers the ability to access vital patient data from any location across their healthcare setting. With Misys Connect, physicians are able to work more efficiently thanks to the improved access to information available in a connected environment, and patients benefit from a smoother visit with fewer delays and improved care delivery.

-- Misys CPR(TM): Misys CPR is a market-leading Electronic Health Records (EHR) solution delivering enterprise clinical management with a computerized patient record (CPR) and computerized physician order entry (CPOE) solution. The new release of Misys CPR continues its transition to a browser-based solution that is easily deployed, reduces costs for healthcare facilities and allows easy access to clinical information from any care venue for better patient care.

-- Misys EMR(R): Physicians and staff using Misys EMR adopt a paperless system to cut costs associated with administration while enhancing patient care. The latest version connects physicians to patient data throughout the healthcare network while working seamlessly with practice management and billing systems. For example, Misys EMR can be used with Misys Tiger(TM), a practice management system for small- and medium-sized medical practices, and Misys Vision(TM), an enterprise-specific practice management tool.
