Quidel to Hold 2005 Fourth Quarter and Year-End Financial Results Conference Call on February 15

Quidel Corporation (Nasdaq:QDEL), a leading provider of rapid point-of-care diagnostic tests, will release 2005 fourth quarter and year-end financial results after market close on Wednesday, February 15, 2006.

Following the release of the results, Caren L. Mason, president and chief executive officer, and Paul E.
