Missouri-based Heartland Health has signed a contract with Urix for the provision of an analytics and reporting solution designed to support business operations.
Urix says Heartland Health's Community Health Plan, a non-profit, regional health plan, will use the Urix Analytic Platform for financial, actuarial, medical, and employer group reporting.
According to Urix, the solution is a powerful yet easy-to-use interface for claims data analysis, enabling quick response to questions raised by employer clients. It is claimed to be capable of providing select group accounts with web-based access to the Urix interface, including in-depth analysis on claims information, the forecast of medical costs using the integrated predictive modeling tool and the ability to compare utilization and costs to benchmark data.
Rolina Everett, community health plan team leader, said, "Community Health Plan prides itself on being locally based, and that means local claims handling, customer service, doctors and decision makers for our members. The Urix Analytic Platform will help provide the deep business intelligence required to further support that local mission."
