Maureen Cunningham Joins HealthAmerica and HealthAssurance As Vice President of Health Services

Maureen Cunningham has accepted the position of vice president of Health Services for HealthAmerica's central and southeastern Pennsylvania regions. In this position, Ms. Cunningham will oversee HealthAmerica's concurrent review and complex case management programs. She will be responsible for managing the health plan's utilization management activities, as well as coordinating NCQA accreditation and HEDIS reporting.

Prior to joining HealthAmerica, Ms. Cunningham served as the vice president of Health Services for Coventry Health Care of Delaware. She has also worked as the director of case management for Underwood-Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. Ms. Cunningham received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Neumann College and a master's degree in health care administration from Kennedy-Western University.
