Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Selects Sidney W. Morgan As Market President - West Florida

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF) today announced that Sidney (Sid) W. Morgan has been appointed market president - West Florida, effective immediately. Morgan currently serves as the vice president for the company's Provider Services Organization.

In his new role, Morgan will be responsible for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida's business operations in Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando and many other western counties.

Morgan joined BCBSF in 2003 and has more than 19 years of experience in the health care industry in diverse settings that include hospitals, government health insurance programs and commercial HMO/PPO environments.

Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration financial accounting from National University, Westminster, CA. He is a veteran of the United States Navy.
