Morris Architects' Los Angeles Office Expands Healthcare Practice With OSHPD Experts

Morris Architects (www.morrisarchitects.com) announces the expansion of its Los Angeles healthcare practice with Daniel Ortega and Catherine Araga. Both Ortega and Araga have joined the healthcare design team as senior associates, bringing extensive experience in healthcare design, medical planning, project management and OSHPD (California State Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) requirements.

Daniel Ortega has over 15 years of professional experience in healthcare design, medical planning and project management. His experience encompasses a wide variety of project types including medical center master planning, medical education and conference centers, medical office buildings, outpatient clinics, surgery suites, and laboratories. Some of the design projects in which he has been involved include The Kaiser Inland Empire Service Area-Corona Medical Office Building, Kaiser West Los Angeles Medical Center Outpatient Strategic Plan, Harbor UCLA Seismic Retrofit, St. Joseph Health System-Mission Hospital's Education and Conference Center, Tenet Health System I.C.U. Catherine Araga brings 14 years of professional experience in healthcare to Morris Architects. Araga has been involved in over 22 healthcare projects, functioning as project manager, designer and medical planner. Her extensive experience encompasses projects of varying scope and complexity, including medical center master planning, medical education and conference centers, medical office buildings, outpatient clinics, surgery suites, and laboratories.
